Happy Friday! We had a fun filled week this week with our Valentines day party, having the orthodontist coming to visit and learning about Presidents Day! Pictures Below=)

Notes

- No school next week!

-100th Day party when we return on Monday the 26th at 1:30. Let me know if you would like to volunteer! I normally set up 3-5 stations that the kids rotate through.

-Our class auction basket this year will be legos! To help with the basket you can donate an item, the basket, or money and I will purchase more items.

Happy Friday!

We have had a great week learning about teeth, breaking our teens numbers up into tens and ones, and practicing lots of reading! We ended our week celebrating with our boxtop party. We had ice cream and watched a movie=)

A few weeks ago we learned about obedience from our Bible Story Jonah. So when I see students obeying they get to add a sticker to our fish.

Don't forget about Splash Math! Each time a student finishes a level they get to add a sticker to our chart.

-Thank you all for supporting our school with the box tops! Every cent counts as we work our way to rebuilding our back play area!

-Spaghetti Factory Fundraiser Feb. 12th. All you need to do is bring the flier when you get dinner and they will donate 15% of the profits to our school!

-Valentines Day boxes due back Feb. 12th.

-Valentines Day party Feb. 14th. We will be passing out cards and doing some fun math/science with candy hearts. If you would like to donate treats that would be great!!

What are we learning

Reading- We are continuing to work on sounding our words out, write sentences, and we will be learning about syllables.

Math- In math we are learning about taking apart teen numbers into 10 and some more.

Writing- Writing for a reason

Science- Teeth

Bible- John is born
lesson- God knows and plans our future.
