Hello parents! Sorry this post is running late! I thought it went through this weekend. Well, Last week went good, we are all getting some spring fever though=)

We did our Minnie unit on missionaries. Mrs. Williams joined us for chapel in her Russian Attire, where she did her mission work. In art we made some cups to put lights in, and we talked about shining our lights for God. I took the kids into the bathroom where it was dark and I let them shine their lights. They loved it, needless to say=) Throughout the week we learned about different missionaries and why they go. I loved hearing so many students be interested in missionaries and saying that when they grow up they want to do a mission!

Next week we will be practicing our class chapel, which we will be doing the week after. During class chapel our class will lead the lesson. I will make sure to video tape it for families to see=)

2/23

Good Afternoon! I am excited to get back to school next week, we have a lot of fun things to learn.

Next week in Social Studies we are doing a Missions emphasis. We have a guest speaker in Chapel on Monday, Valerie Williams. She currently helps missionaries so it will be fun to here from her. In class we are going to learn about different families who are doing missions, how they help, why they go, and how they have to adjust.

Here is a picture of our focus wall for next week.

Notes:
·       Our field trip to the aquarium is coming up in a few weeks, please let me know if you would like to volunteer.

Well I think that is all, I am running a little slow on this Sunday=)
