Happy Friday Parents!

We had a great first week back from Spring break. I can't believe there are only 9 weeks of school left! We have a lot going on, so make sure you catch all of the dates below and the information.

-Next week for Earth day we will be creating a garden under our bell tower! If your child has gloves please bring them to work in. Thank you!

We have our back playground plans set. So exciting! There will be a soccer field, track, and playground! We are close to starting phase one, which is the soccer field and track. Money from our auction will help this! If you haven't yet bought tickets do so soon! It will be at Warehouse 23, and it will have a Mexican Theme. There are always lots of great items!

A week in Kindergarten

This week we have been reading about gardening and sunflowers, so we planted our own sunflowers.

I wish I had better pictures of our field trip but they wouldn't let us take pictures inside of the theater.

This week we have spent a lot of time talking about how to solve problems, and what is a kid sized problem and when should you tell an adult. Here are some pictures of what we discussed.

3/8/18

Happy Friday Parents! It was so great to see all of the families who could make it on Open House. If you did not make it, you will have another chance for your child to show you around the room during Student-Led Conferences. If you have not signed up yet, make sure to do so.

This week we had fun learning about simple machines in science, practicing for our class chapel, starting a new writing unit (nonfiction), and doing our "fun math".

Next week we will be taking our unit test in reading, starting positional words in math, and beginning our Easter unit. Each day they will get to open one Easter egg to learn about the story of Easter.

Check out our photos below!
