Welcome to our class blog! Here you will find details about what we are learning, upcoming information and dates, as well as my favorite, pictures.

This week we focused on talking about rules and why they are important. We also focused on daily routines. Next week we will learn some more routines for our reading and math time.

But of course it was not all rules and routines, we were able to do some fun crafts, read some stories, play, and make portraits of our selves, that you will find hung in the hallway next week.

Reminder that Tuesday in our Curriculum Night at 6:30, I hope to see everyone there! Kids are welcome though from past and personal experience it is easier without them, as they tend to get bored;)

Happy Sunday wonderful kindergarten parents! We have one week left, with a lot going on!

-Monday is our dress rehearsal for our program and graduation. If you are not able to make it Friday, you are more than welcome to come tomorrow! Please have your child dress in summer clothes. Boys can wear swim trunks even.

-Tuesday- Father's Field Day and Books with Dad.
                 -8:15-9:00 stop by between this time with your child to browse books and eat breakfast. This is a optional event. If you do come, your child can leave class to go with you. Because our Father's field day is at 9:45, you can choose to stay and hang out with the class or you can leave and come back, which ever you choose=)
                 -9:45-12:00- If you would like to walk with your child you can choose to leave at 9:30, however if that is too much walking for your little one you can drive down at 9:45 to meet. Unfortunately we are not able to use our van this year, so parents will need to drive their child. I will also be driving and can bring students who may not have their father there. For this reason please make sure your child has their field trip slip filled out! Down at Kline Line we will play games and eat lunch together.

-Wednesday- We will begin to bring our belongings home. Please send your child with a brown paper bag.

-Thursday- Class party and cleaning class room. Report cards will be sent home.

-Friday- Half day/ program/ graduation/ talent show. Please have your child wear summer clothes for program. They can have a change for their graduation if you would like.

Happy Tuesday wonderful kinder parents! I can't believe we only have 2 weeks left! We have a lot of fun in the next 2 weeks!

--Volunteer appreciation tomorrow.

- Father's Field Day next Tuesday the 6th at 930-12 along with books and breakfast with dad from 815 -9 (optional ).

-Thursday June 8th class end of year party.

-Graduation,  K-2 program, and our talent show! This is also a half day.

*if you can not make it to the program friday we are having our dress rehearsal on Monday.

Notes

-Our Auction earned close to $5,000!! It is beyond words how thankful we are to have such a giving school community. This money will be going towards our remodel for our new classrooms!

- Spring graduation pictures will be sent home today!

We are getting close to the end of the year, but we are still working hard on our reading, writing, and math!
