Friday, November 4th

Good evening, fabulous Kinder parents! We have had such a fun busy week! I can not beleive November is here! 

NO SCHOOL NEXT FRIDAY: This is just a reminder that there will be no school, next Friday, November 11^th due to Veteran’s Day. Our daycare will be open, so if you need childcare be please respond to this blog or let Brooke know at the daycare. 

VETERAN’S DAY ASSEMBLY: Sonshine Elementary School will have a Veteran’s Day Assembly on Thursday, November 10^th at 10 AM. If you would like to attend you are more than welcome! Also, if you have any friends or relatives who are or were in the military, please invite them as we will be honoring our Veterans!

Also, please send any photos (scanning them and sending via email would be best) of any family members in the military now or who have served in the past. We would like to collect these for a slide-show. 

Saturday, November 20th, 11 am: Harvest Dinner at Faith Baptist Church

Please keep the hygiene items for Operation Christmas Child coming in! We are asking that each child in our class bring in 3 small toys to help fill our shoeboxes! Thank you to those of you who have done this already, so exciting!

Our first spelling list came out today! I am easing students into spelling by practicing a set of words for 2 weeks. After we get a hang of it, we will have one list a week.
