Happy Friday! We had such a fun week working in our garden to celebrate Earth day and enjoying some sunshine! Take a look a pictures below!

Notes:

-Sorry I did not send home our newsletter, here is a copy and I will send it home Monday. Please write down the dates from our newsletter and check the notes.

-We are registering for our Adventures in the Great Northwest Summer Camp. I highly recommend it. It is educational yet fun. We incorporate reading, writing, math, art, and science into each day, plus we will have a few field trips! If your child is already attending the daycare we will pick them up and bring them back at lunch, and I believe there is a rate discount at the daycare, please ask.

We learned about how we could help save the earth and we wrote about it.

Now that they are learning to read, they read together=)

We also planted sunflower seeds!

They had so much fun working in the garden they wanted to do it at recess even!

After!! They did such a great job!

-Next week for Earth day we will be creating a garden under our bell tower! If your child has gloves please bring them to work in. Thank you!

We have our back playground plans set. So exciting! There will be a soccer field, track, and playground! We are close to starting phase one, which is the soccer field and track. Money from our auction will help this! If you haven't yet bought tickets do so soon! It will be at Warehouse 23, and it will have a Mexican Theme. There are always lots of great items!

A week in Kindergarten

This week we have been reading about gardening and sunflowers, so we planted our own sunflowers.

I wish I had better pictures of our field trip but they wouldn't let us take pictures inside of the theater.

This week we have spent a lot of time talking about how to solve problems, and what is a kid sized problem and when should you tell an adult. Here are some pictures of what we discussed.
