I hope everyone had a great weekend. The
Thanksgiving fest was so fun today, and it was so nice to see all of the families.
Next week will be REALLY easy. Monday afternoon we
will be doing our thanksgiving party. We are going to do four fun crafts, Indian shirt making, cookie frosting, bead making, and sewing stockings (and I know stockings are not really Thanksgivingish! I am kind of killing two birds with one stone though by teaching them how pilgrim kids sewed and they get Christmas stockings=)). We
decided not to do any food since we had such a big harvest fest today. On Tuesday we have our field trip to the
Portland Children’s Museum. The kids will have so fun here, we get to have our own clay class with an art teacher. For the field trip,
students only need to a lunch and an extra snack for the morning. I recommend them
not bringing any extra money. After
Tuesday we have three days off!
